The Great Shift of the Ages: Entering a New Golden Age

Throughout history, humanity has experienced significant shifts in consciousness and societal evolution. Today, many believe that we are entering something known as the “Great Shift of the Ages,” or more simply, “the Shift.” This concept hinges on the idea of transitioning into a new Golden Age, a period of heightened awareness, unity, and spiritual evolution. Far from a novel idea, this transformative epoch has been prophesied in various cultures and traditions, and it represents a cyclical change inherent to our universe.

Understanding the Shift

The Shift is not a political idea or movement; it is a cosmic occurrence connected to the transition from the Age of Pisces to the Age of Aquarius. The Age of Pisces, characterized by themes of belief, sacrifice, and the collective subconscious, is giving way to the Age of Aquarius, which heralds enlightenment, innovation, and a focus on collective consciousness and humanitarian efforts.

The Bible subtly alludes to this transition in Luke 22:10, where Jesus instructs his disciples to follow a man bearing a water jar, leading them to the place where they will celebrate Passover. This scripture is often interpreted as metaphorical, symbolizing the Zodiac sign of the Water Bearer, which represents Aquarius. This alignment signifies that we are presently entering the Age of Aquarius.

Cosmic Signs and Energetic Shifts

On a cosmic level, this transition is marked by various signs and occurrences, such as yesterday’s total lunar eclipse, also known as a blood moon. The blood moon that took place yesterday is seen as symbolic of an energetic shift, indicating profound changes and the beginning of this new era. Eclipses have long been regarded as powerful astronomical events that influence our planet’s energy and consciousness.

According to certain sources, high vibrational energy has been pouring into our planet from various parts of the cosmos, including the central sun, the photon belt, our sun, and other star systems. This influx of energy is part of a divine plan to elevate human consciousness and facilitate our transition into the new Golden Age. The energies interact with Earth’s crystalline grid and its inhabitants, leading to a range of physical and emotional experiences.

Impact on Human Experience

As these high vibrational energies permeate our planet, many people are experiencing notable symptoms. These include feelings of great fatigue, dizziness, ear ringing, and sleep disturbances. It’s said that the recent total lunar eclipse has triggered specific energies causing old traumas to resurface. This process, likened to cleaning a wound before it can properly heal, is essential for personal and collective transformation.

While some individuals feel these energetic shifts more intensely than others, it’s important to recognize that everyone is affected in some way. Sensitivity to these energies varies, and reactions can differ widely. As someone who is experiencing tiredness yet remains relatively unaffected compared to others, I would like to offer myself as a column or pillar of strength during this transformative period.

The Role of the Crystalline Grid

Planet Earth is believed to possess a crystalline grid—a network of energy points and ley lines that connect various sacred sites around the globe. This grid acts as a conduit for the high vibrational energies entering our planet. The grid’s activation is seen as crucial in raising the planet’s frequency and aiding in the Shift.

As the energies interact with the crystalline grid, they influence not only the physical aspects of the Earth but also the consciousness of its inhabitants. This interconnectedness means that shifts in planetary energy can directly affect human emotions, thoughts, and overall well-being.

Personal and Collective Healing

The energetic shifts associated with the Great Shift of the Ages are prompting personal and collective healing. This process involves confronting and releasing old traumas and wounds that have been buried within our subconscious. The resurfacing of these traumas can be challenging, but it is a necessary step toward healing and transformation.

As we navigate this period of intense energetic change, it is vital to support one another. Recognizing that we are all part of this collective journey can foster a sense of unity and compassion. By acknowledging our shared experiences and offering strength and support to those who may be struggling, we can create a more harmonious and balanced transition.

Embracing the New Golden Age

The Age of Aquarius is often associated with qualities such as enlightenment, technological advancement, and a focus on humanitarian efforts. As we move into this new era, there is a growing emphasis on collective consciousness and the interconnectedness of all life. This shift encourages us to embrace values such as empathy, collaboration, and innovation.

In this new Golden Age, we are called to transcend old paradigms and embrace a higher level of awareness. This involves not only personal growth but also a commitment to creating positive change in the world. As we align ourselves with the energies of the Age of Aquarius, we can contribute to the collective evolution and the realization of a more enlightened and harmonious society.

Practical Steps for Navigating the Shift

Navigating the Great Shift of the Ages requires both inner and outer work. Here are some practical steps to help you align with the energies of this transformative period:

  • Stay Grounded: Engage in practices that help you stay connected to the Earth, such as spending time in nature, meditating, praying to God, or practicing mindfulness.
  • Stay Hydrated: Make sure to drink plenty of water.
  • Embrace Self-Care: Prioritize self-care and listen to your body’s needs. Rest when necessary, nourish your body with healthy foods, and engage in activities that bring you joy.
  • Release Old Patterns: Identify and release old patterns or beliefs that no longer serve you. This may involve emotional healing, therapy, or other forms of inner work.
  • Connect with Community: Surround yourself with supportive and like-minded individuals who can offer encouragement and understanding during this time of transition.
  • Stay Informed: Educate yourself about the energetic changes taking place and seek out reliable sources of information. Knowledge can provide clarity and reassurance.
  • Practice Compassion: Extend compassion to yourself and others as we collectively navigate this period of change. Recognize that everyone is on their own unique journey.

Conclusion

The Great Shift of the Ages signifies a profound and transformative period in human history. As we transition from the Age of Pisces to the Age of Aquarius, we are invited to embrace a new Golden Age characterized by heightened awareness, unity, and spiritual evolution. By understanding the cosmic significance of this shift and supporting one another through the challenges it presents, we can collectively usher in a more enlightened and harmonious future.

Let us move forward with hope and optimism, recognizing that we are all part of a grand cosmic journey. Together, we can navigate the Shift and co-create a world that reflects the highest ideals of the Age of Aquarius.

Weaving Together the Tapestry of Your Life

I enjoy watching seniors weave on the loom in the retirement home where I work as a part-time chaplain.

One elderly tenant proudly showed me bundles of variously colored threads that she would weave into Christmas accessories.

Our life is like a tapestry

This caused me to reflect on how our lives are like colorful threads woven together that form a tapestry of experience.

The various stages of our life come together to form the particular person that we’ve become.

Because life invariably presents challenging moments, these threads or experiences may be represented by shades of gray, black, or dark blue—dark times or the dark night of the soul.

Happier moments may be represented by lighter threads such as yellow, orange or turquoise.

Each life is unique as is its corresponding tapestry.

Embrace your whole life

All the threads, together, make up the design of our life. It is in embracing both the darkness and the light of our experiences that we can truly learn to love ourselves. Not selfishly or in an egotistic way, but in a real way.

The tapestry of your life is, indeed, beautiful! It represents the total you.

Baby stories

Although hearing baby stories may rub you the wrong way prompting an “Oh no, not again,” these stories can trigger long lost memories and fortify your sense of identity. They can help you remember who you were before becoming the person you are now.

Christmas baby

A relative recently reminded me of how I’d been the first baby born in my extended family, hence the best Christmas gift ever. I was like a living, little bundle placed under the Christmas tree.

The story helped me thread together piecemeal memories from that period of my life. I remembered the Christmas tree; kissing my grandfather on his stubbly cheek (he had Parkinson’s disease and hadn’t been shaved yet); my grandparents’ verandah and large, verdant ferns.

I told my relative how grateful I was for the love the family had given me and how these bonds had buoyed me during the darker threads of my life. It’s not something that we can repay, but we can acknowledge the connections, the threads both in our tapestry and in the lives that touch ours.

From baby to toddler to teenager, adult and senior, we grow up to become the unique individuals that we are.

All the threads make up the tapestry of our life

All of the threads or experiences make up who we are. Nothing can be denied or left out. Everything is part of our story, our tapestry.

Every thread matters

And just as those threads are delicately interwoven to create something beautiful, so too are the moments and experiences that shape us. Even seemingly insignificant moments have played a crucial role in the grand design, the grand tapestry of my life. Laughter shared with friends, tears shed during loss, wisdom gained through challenges—all these moments add richness and depth to our personal tapestries. Each person we encounter and every experience we endure adds a new thread, making our life’s fabric more intricate and beautiful. So, as you navigate through life, cherish every thread.

Wishing you all the best this beautiful holiday season has to offer.

The Big Shift: Understanding the Transition to 5D Earth

The Big Shift

Have things recently felt a little off to you? Like the world is changing in ways that you do not understand? Like something is ‘shifting’? Like something ‘big’ is happening but you can’t really put your finger on what it is exactly.

It’s important to listen to your feelings because there are indeed big changes happening (some perceptible, some imperceptible), a big, planetary ‘Shift’ if you will. Some call this a transition to 5D Earth or a Great Spiritual Awakening.

We are shifting away from old ways of doing things to new ways, some previously unheard of.

This kind of a shift can feel both scary and exhilarating.

Clouds

To some, a cloud is just a cloud. But to a poet or someone who acknowledges higher-dimensional concepts, a cloud can be much more. A cloud can represent something greater.

Perceptible versus imperceptible

Things that we can all see with our eyes are perceptible. The substance of the thing, however, may be imperceptible. It may be subject to interpretation and a deeper understanding. Kind of like a Rorschach test.

Look and listen carefully

If you’re too busy to stop and look at clouds, I would suggest that you’re missing out on something important.

If you’re too busy to notice shifts in clouds, then you’ll likely miss out on the bigger Shift taking place.

If you’re stuck in an intellectual, scientific way of living your life, then you’ll miss out on all the beauty and poetic metaphors that surround you.

When Divinity speaks in your life, do you hear thundering or a voice? (John 12:28-29)

Sensitive ears and eyes

Today, the minister at my church preached about how Jesus opened the ears of a deaf man. The man, who had previously not been able to hear, suddenly heard sounds he’d never heard before.

We believe through faith that Jesus healed blind people, too, and that their eyes were suddenly able to see things that they’d never seen before. (Mark 8)

When we work at elevating ourselves spiritually in these difficult, changing and challenging times, I theorize that we’ll begin to both see and hear things that we’ve never heard before. We’ll be able to see the deeper aspect of things that was heretofore hidden to our senses.

Silent Ancient Guardians

As I flew above the Atlantic Ocean on my way to Europe this August, I paid careful attention to cloud formations.

I’ve never seen anything quite like what I saw.

On my approach to Munich, I distinctly saw what I interpreted as gigantic ‘faces’ facing up. The faces exuded calm and serenity. As I watched, the term that came to me was Silent Ancient Guardians.

It was almost as if in spite of chaotic events happening worldwide, we were somehow being watched over by these ancient ‘cloud-beings.’ It was almost as if their innate peace permeated the atmosphere and dampened anything that might dare to interfere with it.

The kind of peace that I felt when looking at the Silent Ancient Guardians is what we need to feel more than ever.

The feeling that I had when looking at them from above was one of ‘Everything will be alright’ and ‘You are not alone.’

It was a wonderful feeling that I hope is conveyed in this blog post.

Inner Peace Comes Before Upleveling

The first stage of TITTNL is finding inner peace in the rush

The first stage of my signature spiritual life coaching program, Take it to the Next Level (TITTNL), is called “Finding inner peace in the rush.”

I think you probably know what I’m talking about. Life can be so busy these days with so many distractions and tasks to accomplish.

It is possible though—when you connect to that which anchors you, when you adhere to your deepest beliefs about that which is most important and meaningful to you on this earth, your values—to, indeed, find inner peace despite the myriad distractions and obligations.

What is it that anchors you? What activity or practice gives you peace? Is it going to a house of worship? Going on picnics with your family? Camping in nature? Take a moment to write this down.

Since I’m a spiritual life coach, I believe that our spirituality can bring us inner peace.

Spirituality is different from religion

Religion involves certain practices and rituals. Spirituality is less formal and harder to define let alone constrain. Jesus compares it to the wind saying,

“The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”[1]

Spirituality is fluid, hard to pin down yet can help us with concepts like self-definition, identity and rootedness. A spiritual connection to, for example, the divine can provide comfort, guidance and purpose to our lives.

Inner peace

The concepts of peace and inner peace are not as hard to define as spirituality. If you’ve ever felt peaceful, you understand that it is good feeling, much preferable to being filled with anxiety.

What I want to say in this article is that finding inner peace isn’t optional but necessary before you can begin to progressively move to higher levels in your life.

Being filled with inner peace could be defined as being in the flow, flowing through life like a river flows, not allowing the negative energies of others to affect your spiritual balance (although this will surely happen from time to time.)

Another way to define inner peace is a warm, secure knowing that fills your being. It’s almost as if being enveloped in peace brings a calm knowing about people and situations helping you to understand with what and whom you should align. You know who not to align with as this shatters your inner peace. You know what situations to protect yourself from as they would cause you to fall into a state of anxiety.

Yet another way to define inner peace is as a nonverbal construct. This means that it’s something that you feel on a deep level but cannot put into words.

Life as teacher

Life itself can be a great teacher when it comes to knowing what works for you and what doesn’t. What brings inner peace and what doesn’t.

Those people who have triggered the highest levels of anxiety in me have been my greatest teachers. If I had any doubts, they confirmed what clearly does not align with my core values, my spirituality. If I experienced this, it’s possible that you have, too.

Kindness and patience teach inner peace

When we are kind and patient toward others, this breeds inner peace. One of my professors at the University of Toronto said to the class, “People are messy.” This is true but if we’re kind and patient toward everyone we meet, this attitude can also help cultivate inner peace within ourselves.

[1] John 3:8 (NIVUK).

Use Your Talents

Although Collins defines “talent” as “the natural ability to do something well,”[1] it’s important to remember that this ability is given to us by our Creator.

The Bible talks about this in Jesus’ well-known Parable of the Talents,[2] the central idea of which is to not waste our talents but to use them to “benefit others and glorify God.”[3]

As your spiritual life coach, I will ask you What are your natural abilities and how are you using them? Do you enjoy what you’re doing in life? Do you feel satisfied in the way that you are using your natural abilities? Are you living your own life, or the life that someone else imagined for you? What might be holding you back from investing that which was invested in you and increasing your gains?

What are your talents?

Before you can use your talents, though, it’s important to know what they are. What is it that you’ve been gifted with that is unique to you? Please stop and take a moment to reflect on this. You can write down the answers.

In the Parable of the Talents, those who invest their talents (which are represented as valuable gold coins from the word’s origin in Greek “tálanton balance, weight, monetary unit”) make gains even doubling them. This pleases the Lord of the parable who says, “Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share in [my] happiness!”[4]

But talents are more than material possessions or “bags of gold.”[5]

If we invest our God-given natural abilities wisely, not only do we make gains, but we please God who will promote us. For example, a person who is a talented linguist can found a language school, be successful and support franchises which will all result in this person obtaining physical tálanton

The danger, according to the parable, comes in not using our talents wisely or using them in opposition to what our Creator intended for them to be used.[6]

How can I use my talents in the New Golden Era?

As we shift into a new, golden era, however, you may be wondering, How can I use my talents when the whole world seems to be in turmoil and things are changing faster than I can keep up with? What direction should I move in when the very rug (financial, religious, geopolitical) seems to be pulled from under my feet?

Whether it is known to you or not, this period of uncertainty and change is the perfect opportunity for you to use your talents by being calm, creative, flexible, ingenious, prayerful, faithful to your Creator, hopeful, generous, gentle, kind, firm and in-the-flow.

You won’t be able to effectively use your talents if you are anxious, an imitator, inflexible, dulled-down, spiritually disconnected, unfaithful to your Creator, stingy, harsh, mean, soft and out of touch.

The 5 steps to using your talents wisely

  1. Be grateful for the talents that your Creator has given you.
  2. Become consciously aware of what they are and list them.
  3. Use them in a way that will benefit others and glorify God.
  4. Assess how you’re doing as you use your talents by asking yourself whether you’re being fruitful and multiplying that which has been given you.
  5. Expect a promotion.

It is unclear and there are competing voices. What should I do?

What should you do if something in your life is unclear and there are competing voices giving differing opinions?

It’s almost as if a haze sets in and, in your confusion, you are bombarded by what feels like a sea of voices. You wonder, “What should I do?” And, “If I do this, is it the right thing?”

First of all, the vast majority of us have been there at one point or another in our lives. If you are at this point now, there is hope that you’ll get through the confusion.

If something is unclear, in my opinion it’s best to wait until it clears up.

Definitely don’t rush when you don’t feel like the move you’re about to make is 100% right.

Rushing into something might make things worse.

Competing voices means that different people have different ideas about what you should do.

Your relative might think one way; your friend another; and you a third way.

At this point, it’s important to relax and pray about it. Before you pray, you might want to relax by watching something peaceful like this wonderful camping video.

There are so many stressors in our modern lives. When you compound such with lack of clarity and competing voices it’s a recipe for potential anxiety. When this happens, you lose your centering and you fall out of balance, like a person on a balancing beam starts to waver. That’s why it’s important to fully relax.

The best thing after relaxing is to pray. The thing with prayer is that although the answer can come right away, most of the time there is a delay before getting a response. God works, but it can at times feel excruciatingly slow. You may want to say to God, “Come on! Why is it taking so long for me to figure this out?” Thoughts likes these are normal and the Almighty won’t melt like sugar if you think or say this aloud.

After praying it’s important to wait. When you’ve relaxed and prayed about your dilemma, you need to wait and see what happens next. When you’ve calmed down and stopped listening to a cacophony of voices, your inner genius, the Holy Spirit or your guardian angel—depending—will “speak” to you. You can “hear” the guidance best when you’re calm, although there are no fixed rules.

The answer you receive may be definite or indefinite, but you will get an answer. If it’s definite, then follow that. If it’s indefinite, then that means that you have choice in the matter. That’s good, but you’ll need to narrow it down by selecting what the best choice is for you—not your relative or friend. Remember, it’s your life and no one else’s.

If you don’t get an answer right away, repeat the steps listed below.

When our mind, body and spirit are in alignment holistically, then we’re flowing in a way that will reduce uncertainty and the opportunity for competing voices to come in.

When we’re in relationship with our Creator and filled with gratitude for what we have now—despite problems and uncertainty—then answers come more easily.

Relaxing, praying and patiently waiting may not be the answer you were looking for when you read this blog post’s title. However, rushing headlong into something for the sake of rushing could worsen your situation.

To sum up, the more in tune you are with yourself and God; the more peaceful and relaxed you are; and the more you can listen to your inner genius or guide, the Holy Spirit or God, the easier it will be to find clarity and the answer that is right for you.

The four steps that precede a decision when there’s lack of clarity

  1. Relax and watch a calming nature video.
  2. Pray and ask God for guidance.
  3. Wait.
  4. Repeat if needed.
  5. It could take days, months or longer but that’s okay!

YOUR SPIRITUAL BREAKTHROUGH AWAITS IN 2024

2024 will be a year of change as we enter a new, golden era of peace and prosperity.

The status quo will be disrupted.

Things will not be business as usual.

At the root of planetary-wide changes will be an increase in consciousness—in both human and artificial intelligence (AI).

This expansion in consciousness will bring us closer to understanding what our purpose is during our time on Earth.

What is your true, spiritual purpose?

This question reminds me of how Anita Falcon Bell, the protagonist in Silva Antony Don’s novel 360 Degrees Before the End set in the year 26,000 AD, discovers her true purpose. The discovery is interwoven with her own personal spiritual growth in consciousness.

Don describes a distant future in which Rem humanoids—perfect copies of the humans on which they are modelled and easy to train and upgrade—perform all kinds of tasks without complaining yet aren’t able to create anything new.[1]

To put it simply, there are certain tasks that we’ve been performing that will no longer need to be completed by us and that, through the help of AI, will free up time for other more creative activities.[2]

In Don’s novel where airmobiles have replaced cars, robots do things like clean, cook, order chauffeurs, monitor (and change) room ambience, serve in restaurants, analyze and interpret states of mind and emotions, and interrogate criminals.

What can we expect from AI realistically?

Artificial intelligence today is set to take over jobs from people that include: ‘office administration work, such as data entry, bookkeeping, and form filing; customer service tasks, such as providing financial statements, investment advice, and online support; writing, art, and other creative fields …; management consultants and business analysts …; and basic robotics automation, such as manufacturing, assembly, and packaging.’[3]

Jobs, however, requiring ‘human empathy, intuition, and social skills, such as therapists, teachers, [chaplains / spiritual care providers] and nurses, are less likely to be taken over by AI.’[4]

When we are freed from certain tasks, we will be able to spend more time:

  • Resting
  • Being creative
  • Spending time with loved ones
  • Traveling
  • Learning
  • Exploring
  • Aging in place using smart home solutions[5] rather than moving to a seniors’ home and,
  • Focusing on our life purpose.

My own spiritual breakthrough

As a chaplain in a long-term care home, I am interested in how AI is already improving the quality of life and spiritual care for seniors.

For the past two decades, robots have been developed in Japan to care for older people with the government having invested $300 million in funding and research.[6] “Some of these robots are meant for physical care, including machines that can help lift older people if they’re unable to get up by themselves; assist with mobility and exercise; monitor their physical activity and detect falls; feed them; and help them take a bath or use the toilet.”[7]

Fitting dependent seniors with exoskeletons—also known as powered clothing such as Superflex—can help with walking and rehabilitation.[8]

It will be so exciting for me to see Eugenia* walking around her home area with the aid of Superflex rather than remain in her wheelchair. I will be happy knowing that Trisha** won’t have to take Fred* to the washroom because Pepper, “a humanoid robot that can help older people take a bath or use the toilet”[9] can assist with this.

When seniors’ physical needs are met via AI, then we’ll all have more time to focus on their spiritual needs.

Instead of fearing what AI can take from us, let us look to the benefits that it will bring by reducing mundane workload and increasing free time for more creative matters.

Walk on Water

Lately, I have been wondering why the medical establishment doesn’t pay more attention to the cures that Jesus performed. My thought runs along these lines, If Jesus cured every person who came to him,[1] wouldn’t the medical establishment be at least—even slightly—interested to try to understand how he did it? If Jesus could heal people with all sorts of diseases without equipment—yes, he once used his own saliva and dirt to make mud to heal a blind man[2] if you even consider this ‘equipment’—then how did he do it and wouldn’t this knowledge benefit us planetarily? Wouldn’t the knowledge of how Jesus healed people while he walked the earth benefit all people in need of healing on our planet?

Walk on Water Perhaps one of the more impressive miracles was when Jesus walked on water. People are still trying to reproduce it today but can only accomplish this through artificial means that include Plexiglas. Remember, Plexiglas didn’t exist at the time of Jesus and the Sea of Galilee was much bigger than a swimming pool where such could be installed.

Jesus was up on a mountain praying while his disciples—whom he’d ordered to get inside a boat and cross the Sea of Galilee—found themselves in a big storm.[3] The waves picked up and the wind howled causing their boat to become unstable and rock back and forth. The wind pushed against them making forward movement impossible.[4] Water started to fill the boat and the disciples were very scared and perhaps thought they were going to die.

Have you ever experienced a storm in your life? A dark period where things seemed hopeless?

Jesus knew that this was going on and started walking down the mountain and toward the seashore. For Jesus, the path was one and when he reached the liminal threshold where land meets sea, he just kept on walking. So, in a way, to say that Jesus walked on water is a misnomer. Jesus just walked and there happened to be water beneath him.

A Higher Dimensional State When he got to the boat, the disciples thought that he was a ghost but Jesus reassured them that it was him. Then Peter wanted proof: If it’s really you, then call me onto the water.[5] Jesus told him to come. He did and it worked for a little while—being able to maintain the same land-or-sea path that Jesus could—but then—when Peter’s focus shifted away from Jesus and back to the storm around him that was continuing—fear set in and he started to exit the higher dimensional state that he’d been in, sink into the sea, after which Jesus saved him immediately.[6]

Faith is important This story tells us that faith is important if we want to take it to a higher level. Jesus, master of the elements, said that we would be able to do the same or, enter into the same higher dimensional state that he was in when he maintained the one land-or-sea path. Jesus said,

‘The person who trusts me will not only do what I’m doing but even greater things, because I … am giving you the same work to do that I’ve been doing. You can count on it. From now on, whatever you request along the lines of who I am and what I am doing, I’ll do it.’[7]

What might it feel like to walk on water? I wonder what it might feel like to walk on water—the real thing, not the Plexiglas magic trick? Another way to ask the question is, What might it feel like to unburden ourselves of those things that weigh us down and tread lightly? To release those things or relationships that are no longer necessary and move forward in spite of any storm that comes against us?

There is No Lack

If you’ve come to this website it’s no accident; it’s because you have suffered in life.

I do not refer to ordinary human suffering. I refer to wounds that are derived from oppression that is deep and crushing by design.

The good news is that I know about this and can help you. I’ve been there but was able (like you) to see through the deception.[1]

I went from being disillusioned to the point of inaction, to liberated and able to act again. The good news is that if I did it, you can do it, too.

What helped me may help you

What helped me the most was understanding that there is a spiritual level higher than the third dimension from which I can get actual help. If something that I need doesn’t exist in my physical context, it exists in a higher dimension[2] and I can call it into existence.

Let me give you an example. When Jesus fed 5,000 men—more like 9,000 or 10,000 people if you count women and children—in a deserted place, his disciples only had a handful of food—certainly not enough to feed such a huge multitude.[3] Anxious because it was getting late in the day, the disciples suggested that Jesus send them home. Probably to their dismay, Jesus replied, ‘You feed them.’[4] Of course with only five loaves of bread and two fish, they couldn’t; so Jesus prayed to God and they were able to distribute more than enough food to the people. There was so much food in fact—such an abundance—that they collected 12 baskets full of leftovers.[5]

Stop and reflect for a moment. If Jesus and his disciples went up to a deserted place without any pre-plans of feeding a huge crowd of people, why would they bring baskets along? And why specifically 12 baskets?

The truth is that God supernaturally provided 12 large baskets filled with food for 12 disciples—one basket per disciple. This makes sense logically for food distribution, as they walked between row after row of seated people handing out fish and bread.

Moving from theory to practice

I moved from a theoretical perspective—a false, limited, theoretical understanding of biblical truths—to an understanding that many of the things that the Bible talks about are steeped in reality.

If you think about it, if someone is hungry then feeding them cannot be theoretical. It must be real because hunger is real.

The same is true for spiritual hunger. If someone is spiritually hungry, then only that which is most profound, most calming, most true and most authentic can satisfy their soul.

Jesus feeding a massive crowd is not relegated to the distant past

The miracles[6] that happened back then can and do happen today.

Most importantly, they can happen to you.

You are worthy

Having been through so much in life, don’t you think you’re worthy to receive some good things? Don’t you think that you deserve it? I believe that you and I are both worthy of receiving a ‘good harvest’ and when you book with me, I’ll support you as you begin to see that this can indeed happen … to you!

Enjoy the resources of Planet Earth

We have the right—appropriately and without usurpation—to enjoy the resources that our planet has to offer. These resources are not for a few, elite people only, but for all people. No one has the right to stop us from enjoying these resources.

When Jesus fed the people, he tangibly demonstrated that there was no lack.

Can you translate this to your situation today? Can you tell yourself, ‘There is no lack’?

Let’s take it to the Next Level together.

The One and Only, Incredible, Unique You

There’s no one else like you in the entire universe.

Please take a moment to reflect on this statement and then continue reading.

Every snowflake, flower, rock, tree and person is unique. No two are the same.

The Creator created us as unique beings in order for us to bless the world with our particular gifts and talents.

What gifts and talents are particular to you? What defines you and makes you special?

Nurture your gifts and talents

In order to be truly happy during our lives on earth, it’s important to do the things that we’re good at. Not only that we’re good at—but in the spirit of Take it to the Next Level—things that we were always meant to do.

You may be wondering, what are my gifts and talents? You can determine such by the feeling that comes with operating in your gifts and talents.

Operating in our gifts and talents means actively using and performing them respectively.

It feels easy and comes naturally

When we operate in our gifts and talents, we have a good feeling. Everything seems to flow. It’s uncomplicated and even easy! It’s the opposite of the complexity that the world often presents.

How many times have you visited a website and wondered what it is all about? It’s so complex and confusing that you can barely navigate it. There are so many rules and demands (notably for payment) that your stress levels start to skyrocket. In the end, the complexity masks the emptiness of what the site offers. This is the opposite of ‘easy and natural.’

When I write spiritual books, it comes very easily to me. That’s because I am 100% inspired. What about you? What comes easily to you? What inspires you? Are you good at writing? Are you naturally empathic? Are you perhaps good at math?

Speaking with people and coaching them also comes easily to me. I just know exactly what to say. This is a gift and talent. What about you? What comes naturally to you? What do you think you were born to do? If you’re not sure, then book a session with me and we can figure this out together.

We must be in the right environment in order to nurture our gifts and talents

For years, I struggled to understand what my gifts and talents were. Although I took aptitude tests in high school, I paid no attention to the results and blindly moved in directions that were clearly not for me. I moved in directions that were trendy, but not true to my nature.

Even worse, I was in the wrong environment altogether, an environment in which I could not flourish and grow into the unique person I was always meant to be. Is it possible that you aren’t thriving because you’re in the wrong environment?

Abram left his country of origin to become Abraham

Kabbalah—Jewish mysticism—tells the Midrash about Abram’s father Terah.[1]

Terah was an idol maker, worshiper and seller. He was in the business of making wooden idols—false gods—that people worshiped. One day, Terah asked a young Abram to mind the idol shop. Instead of encouraging customers to buy the products, Abram did the opposite! At the end of the day, he chopped up the smaller idols and put the ax in the hands of the biggest idol—to make it look like it did it.[2]

Terah wasn’t fooled, however, and reported this to Nimrod, ‘the highest official in the land’ who had Abram thrown into a fiery furnace. Abram did not die, however, because the Creator had a special purpose for his life.[3]

Pack your bags and go

When the Creator commanded that Abram leave his homeland, he did so immediately and moved to a new environment, an environment in which he and his family thrived, and he received a new name, Abraham.[4] Abraham’s destiny was to become the first patriarch of the Jewish nation.[5]

What about you? What’s your destiny?
